Import survey and profile variable data into the Video Feedback Report

Import additional data to complement your video analysis. Perform this task if you want to analyze video responses alongside survey response data or profile variables.

By default, the Video Feedback Report only includes video responses. The answers to other survey questions, as well as profile variable data, are found in the accompanying Standard Report. Use this workflow to add survey and profile variable data to the Video Feedback Report.

Once added, you can:

  • Use the data to filter responses.
  • See the data displayed beside video responses on the Responses tab.
  • Display the data on the Insights tab, in the Additional data tile.
  1. Open the Surveys app, go to the Activities page, and open the survey.
  2. On the activity toolbar, click Report.
  3. Optional: If Modern Reporting is enabled for your organization, click Standard Reporting.
  4. Click Standard Report.

The Standard Report CSV export has a column called MemberId. The Video Feedback Report export has a column called member_id, in which the prefix urn:alida-sparq-member: precedes the actual MemberId. You can search for and delete that prefix within the Video Feedback report, and then use the matching values in these columns to combine the data into one file.

However, in the final data file, you need to keep the Response Id column from the Video Feedback Report. Voxpopme will use these Response Id values to match the survey and profile data to the corresponding video.

  1. Put together the file you plan to import into the Video Feedback Report.
    1. Delete any columns you don't want to import.
