Export the event log

Export event log data for external analysis and reporting.

Prerequisites:
Note:

You must be an Admin user to perform this task.

  1. In the navigation bar, click Product Settings > Event Log.
  2. Click Export.
    Note: The export file is available for download for seven days following the completion of the export job.
    Result: The server processes the request and prepares a .CSV file for export. You can download the file when processing completes.
  3. To download your event log export, locate the entry you are interested in the Export table and click Download.
    Note: Depending on the time range you are exporting, and the level of activity in your Community instance, the event log export may be a large data file. It may take considerable time to export and download, and you may run up against limits working with the file, such a the 1,048,576 row limit in some versions of Microsoft Excel.
