Set a theme as active for a community

When you set a theme as active, the theme is immediately visible to community members.

Tip: If you want to edit a theme but are not ready to make your changes live, copy the theme you want to edit, and make your changes in the copy. When you want to make the changes live, set the copy as the active theme for the community.
Note: This task cannot be performed by Author or Analyst users.
  1. Open the Community app and click Community > Member Experience at the top of the page.
  2. Click Theming.
  3. On the left-hand side, select an inactive theme.
  4. Click the options menu, and select Set as Active Theme.
  5. Click Set as Active Theme when prompted for confirmation.
    Result:

    The newly active theme is now the theme members see when they view the portal or activities. In the theme editor, the theme appears with an Active label above its name.

    A notification message also appears under the Theme Name field letting you know that the theme is active.
