Schedule a close date

You can schedule an activity's close date and time in advance.

  1. Open the activity by doing one of the following:
    • In the Community app, click See All Activities, and then click the survey name.
    • Open the Surveys app, and then click the activity name.
    • If the activity is a recruitment survey, open the Community app, click the Recruit tab, and then click the recruitment survey name in the Recruiting list.
  2. Click the Distribute tab.
  3. On the Distribution toolbar, click Close > Close Date.
  4. Click Schedule.
  5. Click inside the Date field, and then select the date from the calendar.
  6. From the Time menu, set the closing time by doing either of the following:
    • Type the time according to the required format, and press Enter.
    • Click inside the Time field, and then select the time from the menu.
    The Time setting is based on your computer's time zone.
  7. Click Schedule.
    If there are invitations and reminders scheduled for a date after the close date, you will be prompted for confirmation. Click Confirm to proceed.
    Result:
    • The activity will close automatically at the specified date and time. Participants will no longer be able to access the activity through distribution emails or links. Any invitations and reminders scheduled for a date after the close date will be cancelled.
    • Under the Close menu on the toolbar, the Close Date option appears with a yellow dot.
    • The exact Close Date appears on the toolbar.
    • The date in the Schedule column disappears from any scheduled invitations or reminders.
