Known issues in Member Hubs

These issues may affect a member's user experience when viewing the hub.

Members cannot sign in to the hub using an iOS device

Members will not be able to sign in to the Member hub on iOS device when the following settings are enabled:

Browser Settings
Firefox
In the browser settings menu:
  • Save logins
In the iPhone settings:
  • Settings > Passwords and accounts > Autofill passwords
Safari In the Privacy & Security area:
  • Prevent Cross-Site Tracking
  • Block All Cookies

Adding alternative text to images on a mobile device

All of the features in the Compose menu are supported on mobile devices; however, some of the tools such as adding alternative text may not perform as expected on some mobile devices.

For an optimal user experience, we recommend using Chrome for desktop to create and edit posts.

Hub newsletter font appearances in Outlook

Certain versions of Outlook do not support RGBA values and can cause inconsistency with how the fonts are displayed in newsletters.

Member hub fonts use RGB values by default, but when the opacity is altered, the font can appear differently. By lowering the opacity, the color value is modified to use RGBA values and it may not be recognized in certain versions of Outlook.

For consistent newsletters, modify only the RGB values for the font and not the opacity.

Community admin sign in errors

Community admins who have added themselves to a Community for testing purposes may experience log in and navigation issues when using the hub.

If you are a Community admin and you are using the same email address to test activities and moderate a hub:
  • Sign in to Community and open the Hubs app to view the hub as a moderator.
  • Use the hub welcome page to view the hub as a community member.

Image name appears as the post title

If you add an image to a post that does not have a heading title, the system will use the image file name as the post title when you save it.

When creating a post, we recommend applying a heading style (H1) to the post title.
