Add a hyperlink
Add a link that opens a website or jumps to an anchor in the text.
- Place the cursor in the text where the link will be inserted, or select the text for the link.
- On the Editing toolbar, click the Hyperlink Manager button.

On the
Hyperlink tab, do one of the following:
- To insert a link
to a webpage, type the URL in the
URL field.
Note: The URL must include the correct protocol. Supported protocols include:
http://
https://
mailto:
- To insert a link to a document, click the Document Manager button, and then select the file.
- To insert a link to an anchor in the email, select the anchor from the Existing Anchor list.
- To insert a link
to a webpage, type the URL in the
URL field.
- In the Link Text field, type or edit the text that will open the link.
- Optional: In the ID field, type an ID for the link, or click the Generate ID button.

From the
Target list, select where the link will open.
- To open the link in the current browser tab, leave Target set to None.
- To open the link in a new browser tab, set Target to New Window.
- In the Tooltip field, edit the text that will open the email.
- Click OK.
