Run an automated test

Generate a response for each question in the survey.

Prerequisites:
  • Complete all translations and validate your survey.

Automated test runs (ATR) randomly select members and generate responses based on their statuses.

Use an ATR to generate data for reporting; you can check your base and response rates by looking at the topline report of the survey.

Note: Before you perform an automated test run (ATR), you should clear any test data that may have been collected as a result of using the Test Mode toolbar to ensure accurate and complete data.
  1. In Power Survey Authoring, click the Reports tab.
  2. Click Run Automated Test.
  3. In the Automated Responses dialog, enter the number of automated test responses that you want to generate and then click OK.
    Note: The maximum number of automated test responses is 999.
    The date and status of the test appear.
  4. To see the updated test status, click the Refresh button.
Note:

To delete an automated test, click the red x to the right of the test details. If you delete the ATR at this stage, the generated test data from a deployed test is not cleared. For more information, see Clear test data.
