Flash deprecation

Many popular web browsers are restricting the use of Adobe Flash Player. To reduce the impact of this on customers, Alida has deprecated all Flash survey questions.

Product impact

Power surveys

As of October 2, 2018, all Flash-only questions are fully deprecated. The following changes have been made:

Flash-only questions are skipped in Live Surveys.
Unsupported questions display an error icon to the left of the question name.
To validate your survey, you need to delete Flash-only questions.

Customers are advised to use HTML questions instead.

Surveys

There is no impact to surveys, as none of the question types use Flash.
