Create a Quotes visualization

Take survey responses from your text analysis to share with key stakeholders in your organization.

Example

  1. In your text analysis, click the Visualizations tab at the top of the page.
  2. Click New Visualizations > Quotes.
    Tip: You can click New Visualizations above or below an existing visualization.

  3. Optional: Edit the visualization's title.
    By default the application uses the question text.

  4. Click Add Quotes.
    Result: The Add Quotes pane appears on the right.
  5. Add quotes to the collection.
    1. Use the following filter options to find quotes to include.
      • Click Included to view quotes that are included in your analysis.
      • Click Excluded to view quotes that are excluded from your analysis.
      • In the Find field, type a keyword to search for in a response.
      • Click Favorite to view your favorite list.
      • Click Filter by tags to filter responses for tags or untagged responses.
      • Click Filter by sentiment to filter responses for a sentiment or unspecified sentiment responses.
      • Click Filter on the toolbar to filter responses based on survey questions or respondent variables.
    2. Select the quotes you want to add.
    3. Click Add.
  6. Optional: Click Add Description to provide context to the quote.
  7. Optional: Grab the Handle to arrange the quotes and description on the page.
  8. Optional: To remove a quote from the visualization, click Delete.
  9. Optional: Click in the Quote field and edit the quote.
    Note: You cannot undo changes you make to a quote in a collection. To restore the text, delete the quote from the visualization and repeat step 3 and 4.
