Responses (Video Feedback Report)

View and analyze individual responses in greater depth.

Play a response

  1. On the Responses tab, click the play button in the bottom left corner of a video thumbnail.
    Tip:
    • Toggle the language setting for each response to view the transcription in the original language.
    • Preview the video by highlighting the transcript
    • If you have multiple video questions in an activity, use the filter feature to narrow down your responses and analysis based on a specific question.
  2. For a larger view, click the full screen button in the bottom right corner.
    To close the full screen view, press Esc.

Turn sentiment highlighting on or off

On the Responses tab, click Sentence Based Sentiment.
Result:

The Sentence Based Sentiment summary appears at the top.

In the response transcripts, sentences are highlighted red (negative responses), yellow (neutral responses), and green (positive responses).

Note: Sentiment analysis is available in English only.

Show or hide additional data in responses

  1. On the Responses tab, click the additional data button.
  2. Select or clear the additional data points.
  3. Click Apply filters.
    Result: The responses update to display the selected additional data points.

Add labels

Labels let you group responses and easily filter them later.

  1. In the response box, click Labels.
  2. Click Add label.
  3. Type the label text, and press Enter.
  4. To filter by tags, click Filter, and create a filter condition using Tag.

Switch to single response view

Click the options menu, and select Single Response View.
Result: The response opens on its own page. From here, you can:
  • Watch the video.
  • View additional data associated with the response.
  • View themes associated with the response.
  • View and add tags.
  • View and add annotations.
  • Highlight transcript text and add that video snippet to a showreel.

Add tags

Tags are useful for videos that contain no audio. With tags, you can add notes for video snippets, making it easier to find them later.

  1. Click the options menu, and select Add tags.
  2. Begin playing the video.
  3. Type the tag.
    As you begin typing, the video pauses.
  4. Under Start or End, click Set time to grab the timestamps.
    Type in the Start and End boxes and use the up and down arrows to refine the timestamps.
  5. Click Play to play the section specified by the Start and End timestamps.
  6. Click Save to save the current tag.
  7. Click Save and add new to save the current tag and add a new one.
  8. Click Duplicate to add a second tag for the same timestamp.
  9. To add a saved tag to a showreel, click the options menu in the bottom right corner of the tag and click Add to showreel.

    Select an existing showreel or create a new one, and click Save.

  10. To delete a saved tag, click Delete.
Tip: You can view the tags you added, and add more, by clicking the options menu and selecting Single Response View. In the Tags area, click Add tag.

Like a response

  1. In the upper right corner of a response box, click the star icon.

    The star icon turns purple, indicating a liked response.

  2. To unlike a response, click the star icon again so it turns grey.
  3. To view liked responses, click Advanced Filters and set your filter condition to Like True.

Download the video or audio file

  1. Click the options menu, and select Download.
  2. Select a download option:
    • Download full video: Downloads the video in MP4 format.
    • Download audio file: Downloads the audio in MP3 format.
