Resume an AI Assistant chat (beta)

Your conversations with the AI Assistant are stored with the report and can be resumed.

When you start a chat session with the AI Assistant the prompts and responses for the whole conversation are stored in the History tab.

The chats and chat history are specific to the individual modern report and to your user account. Other users do not see your chat if they have access to the same report, and your chat history is not available to other reports either in the same survey or other surveys.

A new chat session starts if you return to the report after your browser session ends (for example, when you close the tab or log off) or when you click New Chat in the AI Assistant window. In either case, you can return to a previous chat and pick up where you left off.

  1. Open the modern report that contains the chat you want to resume.
  2. In the navigation bar, click AI Assistant.
  3. Click the History tab.
  4. Click the chat to restore as the current AI Assistant chat, so that you can read through the prior prompts and responses, and continue the conversation.
    You can use the search box at the top of the History tab to locate a chat based on the title. Each chat also displays the first prompt used in the chat and the timestamp when the chat started.
