Edit or delete a weighting scheme in modern reports

You can edit weighting schemes by adjusting target percentages and adding or removing variables. You can delete weighting schemes if you are not using them.

Prerequisites:
Tip: If you want to remove weighting temporarily from a report without losing the weighting scheme, you can turn it off.
  1. Select Statistics > Weighting.
  2. Click the Weight Scheme drop-down list, and then click the open in new window icon to the right of the weighting scheme you want to edit or delete.
  3. To delete the weighting scheme, click Delete Scheme at the bottom of the page, and then click Continue in the confirmation dialog.
    Note: You are prevented from deleting a weighting scheme if it is in use. You must apply a different weighting scheme to the report before you can delete the current one.
  4. To edit a weighting scheme:
    1. Click Edit Variable(s).
    2. In the Apply Weight to Variable(s) page, adjust the values in any of the Target Percentage fields.
    3. Click Edit Variable(s) to add or remove questions or profile variables as weight variables.
    4. Click Calculate Efficiency when you have made your changes in the Apply Weight to Variable(s) page.
    5. To save the edited weighting scheme, click Save.
