User upload CSV file requirements

Keep these requirements in mind as you create your user upload CSV file.

General CSV file requirements

Ensure that your CSV file meets the following requirements:

  • All required column headers must be included, and they can be included in any order.
  • Column headers are not case-sensitive.
  • Any extra spaces before and after column header and row values are removed.
  • Spaces between words in column headers are optional. For example, "Can access sensitive data" and "canAccessSensitiveData" are both valid.
  • Name values are case-sensitive. The values in all other columns are not case-sensitive.
  • The CSV file cannot exceed 2MB.

Detailed column requirements

The CSV must not include any additional columns beyond the columns listed in this section. For example, you must remove the Result column if you are re-uploading a CSV file you downloaded and updated. If you omit any of the optional columns, the default value will be used for each user record in the CSV.
