AI Copywriter prompt guide (beta)

The more information you can provide the AI Copywriter, the better the generated hub post will be. Keep these considerations in mind when crafting your prompt.

Subject matter

What should the hub post be about? Be as specific as possible. For example, the prompt "The effects of climate change in the Pacific Northwest" will result in a more topical hub post than the prompt "Climate change."

Purpose

What is the overall objective of the hub post? Is it to inform, persuade, entertain, or educate? Clearly stating the purpose helps the AI Copywriter align its output with your intent. For example, "The goal is to inform customers of the changes we are making based on their feedback."

Length

How long should the hub post be? You can specify a word count (for example, "500 words long"), a content length ("the article must include 5 tips"), or a general sense like "concise" or "in-depth".

Formatting

Do you want subheadings and sections? Do you want bulleted or numbered lists? Include these details.

Audience

Who is consuming the content? What is their demographic profile, their level of expertise on the subject, and what do they hope to gain from reading the article? This helps the AI Copywriter tailor the language and depth.

Tone

Do you want the post's language to be conversational? Fun? Helpful? Friendly? Professional? You can even specify a particular style, like "journalistic" or "academic."

Data points

This is important for shareback posts. Provide the AI Copywriter specific information about activity results. For example, "Acknowledge the 40% who were dissatisfied with their summer vacations and 26% that were dissatisfied with their winter vacations."

Call to action

If the hub post requires a call to action at the end, specify what it should be. For example, "Remind customers to complete the satisfaction survey."

Follow-up prompts

When you're revising a post, include information about content to add or remove. For example, "The tips in the current draft are appropriate for a beginner fitness level. Keep these tips, but also add 3 tips targeting an intermediate or advanced fitness level."

The AI Copywriter works best as a content generation tool, not a copyediting tool. For example, "Revise the current draft to meet a 500 word count limit" would not work because the AI Copywriter cannot discern where you may want to trim text.
