Survey details
The Details tab displays details related to your survey.
- In Power Survey Authoring, click the Details tab.
A survey has the following fields on the Details tab.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Study Internal Name | The name that appears in the list of survey activities in the Activities page. The survey name should be shorter than 50 characters. Participants do not see this name. |
Project Manager |
The person who manages the survey and can approve or delete it. The Project Manager can be the Administrator or an Author. |
Show Back Button |
The option that allows participants to navigate backwards in the survey, so they can review or change their answers. This can be set on a question-by-question basis. To change this option for a question, select or clear the Allow back button check box in the question properties. For more information, see Question properties. |
Show in Portal |
The option to display the survey in the member portal. Tip: If you do not want to display a
survey that is used to import outside data, select
No.

Auto Next Button | The option to move participants automatically from a single choice question to the next one, which reduces the time it takes for them to complete the survey. |
Show Progress Bar | The option to display a bar in the survey
that indicates how much of the survey participants have completed.

Desktop Render |
Determines the default desktop display type for the survey. Note: For an optimal user experience, we recommend testing Live
Desktop Render
surveys on a variety of devices to view the questions
from a participants perspective.

Power Survey Theming |
Determines whether the theme type for the survey is Sparq 1 skinning or a Community theme. The selected theme type will become visible to all participants who have not yet started the survey. |
Respondent Access | The option to enable mobile access. For more information, see Set access for computer and mobile respondents. |
Study Notes |
Notes for yourself or others who are working on the same survey. |
