Create an entry quota

Create and apply an entry quota.

  1. In Power Survey Authoring, click the Quotas tab.
  2. Click Add Entry Quota.
  3. In the New Quota dialog, type a name for the entry quota and then click OK.
  4. In the Quota Target field, specify a quota target.
    The quota target is the number of members you would like to complete the survey. You can adjust the target when the survey is live.
  5. Optional: To add JavaScript or custom formatting through cascading style sheets (CSS), click Edit Scripts and add scripts in the Script Editor.
    Note:
    Test any JavaScript thoroughly before you apply the quota. Note that:
    • If you add JavaScript, GlobalEventHandlers. and CSS in the HTML mode of the text editor, errors will result. For more information, see HTML editor: Restricted elements.
    • Scripts are executed when the message is displayed or emailed to users.
    • Some email clients may not handle scripts.
    • Many web-based systems disable scripts.

  6. In the Respondent Message field, type the message that members receive when the quota is full.
  7. To send an email to the administrators of the survey when the quota has been met, select Send Email.
  8. Click Apply and then click OK.
    Note: When you add an entry quota, it invalidates the survey, so you must return to the survey and then click Validate.
