Forum participation
View a high-level, pre-generated participation summary for your forum.
To access the forum participation report, open the Surveys app and then open the forum you are interested in reporting on. On the activity toolbar, click the Monitor tab.
Forum Participation Summary
By providing a high-level summary of forum activity, the Forum Participation Summary lets you quickly see what participation in a forum looks like.
Count definitions
Label | Definition |
---|---|
Total votes | The total number of votes by all participants who joined the forum. |
Total posts | The total number of posts and replies by all participants who joined the forum. |
Joined forum |
The total number of participants who joined the forum by signing in and choosing a screen name. |
Voted | The total number of participants who voted in the forum. |
Posted | The total number of participants who posted or replied in the forum. |
Lurked | The total number of participants who joined but never posted or voted in the forum. |
Forum Participants list
The Forum Participants list allows you to view details about invited participants, or participants redirected from a survey, who joined your forum. You can sort the list by any column and shift the focus of the list.
Column definitions
Label | Definition |
---|---|
Screen Name | The screen name chosen by the participant when they signed in to the forum. |
Member ID | The participant's unique member ID in the application. |
Date Joined | The date that the participant signed in to the forum and
chose a screen name.
Note: Participants are not required to chose a new screen name
each time they participate in a forum. If the person has participated in
previous forums, the date shown is the first time they joined a forum and chose
a screen name.

The last date on which the participant performed any or all of the following activities:

Posts | The number of posts and replies made by the participant in the forum. |
Votes | The number of votes made by the participant in the forum. |
