Share a report

Share your report by generating a URL and sharing it with stakeholders who can't access the application.

Prerequisites:

Open the standard survey report.

  1. On the report toolbar, click Share.
  2. In the Share Report dialog, click Share.
    By clicking Share, you make the report available to anyone who has the link. However, nobody will be able to view the report until they have the link.
    Result: The Link field appears with the report URL already selected.
  3. Copy the shareable report's link by doing any of the following:
    • Click Ctrl+C if you are on a PC.
    • Click Command+C if you are on a Mac.
    • Right-click the link and select Copy.
  4. Paste the link where you want to use it (for example, in an email) by doing any of the following:
    • Click Ctrl+V if you are on a PC.
    • Click Command+V if you are on a Mac.
    • Right-click and select Paste.
  5. Optional: To preview the report and see what stakeholders will see, click Open.
    Result: The shareable version of the report opens in a new browser tab. In the shareable report, stakeholders can:
    • Switch subgroup views
    • See which filter was used
    • See only the data type (live or test) and participation statuses you specified
    Stakeholders cannot:
    • Add or remove subgroups
    • Edit or remove filters
    • Change data settings
  6. Distribute the report link.
    Anyone who has the report link can view it. The report always contains the latest data, so there is no need to refresh or update it manually.
  7. To revoke access to the report, click Unshare.
    Result: If someone tries to use the report link, they are notified the report is no longer available.
