Create a Word Cloud visualization
Create a Word Cloud visualization to display popular words mentioned in your survey and then present it to your stakeholders.
- Click the Visualizations tab at the top of the page.

Click
New Visualization > Word
Cloud.
Tip: You can click New Visualizations above or below an existing visualization.Result: A word cloud is added in your Visualizations tab.Note:
- Related words are combined into a root word. For example, happy , happiest , and happier would appear in the word cloud as happy.
- By default the application displays the fifty most popular words in your text analysis.
- Optional:
Edit the visualization's title.
By default the application uses the question text.

Change the chart type.

In the
View section, select a chart type:
Button Chart type Description Bar Chart Displays the frequency of words as horizontal, left-aligned bars. Column Chart Displays the frequency of words as vertical, left-aligned bars. Word Cloud Displays words in a word cloud. Table Displays words in a table.

View section, select a chart type:

Click
Settings to change the report settings.
Depending on the chosen chart type or whether you have added sentiments, the settings can differ.

- Show Sentiments: Display the sentiment frequency in the data.
- Hide

Note: If there is no sentiment applied, Sentiments will not show up in Settings.
- Select words to be excluded from the visualization.
Maximum number of words to show:- Select the
maximum number of words to be displayed in the chart type.
Note: The maximum number of words that can be displayed is 100.
Don't show words mentioned less than:- Select the number of times a word has to be mentioned in order to be displayed in the chart type.
Chart Labels:
- Show Counts: Display the number of times the word appears in the records.
- Show Percentages: Display the word frequency as a percentage.
- Show Both: Display the word frequency as both a number and percentage.
Theme Note:- If you do not have sentiments applied, the application defaults to the Bar Color.
- If you select Show Sentiments, you can select the Sentiment Colors.
- If you select Hide Sentiments, you can only select the Bar Color for charts.
- Bar Color: Select a color with the color picker or enter in a hex code (for example, #05a2a8).
- Sentiment
Colors: Select a color for each sentiment with the color picker or
a hex code. You can edit the following five sentiment colors:

- You can quickly view sentiment details and the number of times the word was mentioned in a tooltip. Click the word in a word cloud to display the tooltip.

Exclude these words:- Select words to be excluded from the visualization.

Visualization Options Word orientation:
- Select a orientation for the word cloud: Mixed, Vertical, Horizontal.
- Click Generate Layout to refresh the layout of the word cloud. The word cloud is randomized each time.
Theme Note:- If you do not have sentiments applied, the word cloud defaults to the No Sentiment color.
- If you select Show Sentiments, you can select the Sentiment Colors.
- If you select Hide Sentiments, you can only select the Color Range.
- Color Range: Select a color with the color picker or enter in a hex code for the start color and end color (for example, #05a2a8).
- Sentiment
Colors: Select a color for each sentiment with the color picker or
a hex code.
Note: In the word cloud, the application displays the sentiment with the highest occurrence as the dominant color. If there is no sentiment applied, Sentiments will not show up in Settings.
- If there is a tie between positive and neutral/mixed, it displays a positive sentiment color.
- If there is a tie between negative and neutral/mixed, it displays a negative sentiment color.
- If there is a tie between positive and negative, it displays a neutral sentiment color.
- If there is a tie between neutral/mixed, it displays neutral sentiment color.
