Add sentiment to a text response

Categorize responses with an overall sentiment (positive, negative, neutral, or mixed). You can use the sentiment analysis in Sentiment, Word Cloud, and Tag Frequency visualizations later.

Prerequisites:

Use Automatic Tools to automatically tag responses with sentiments.

Example
  1. In the Responses tab in your text analysis, click the arrow in the Sentiment column, and select a sentiment for the response given.
    You can tag responses with the following sentiments predetermined by the application:
    • Positive
    • Negative
    • Neutral
    • Mixed
  2. Click Filter by sentiment to filter responses by sentiments.
