Export the weight factor
report
You can export the weight factors calculated for a weighting scheme.
Prerequisites:
- Open the modern report
- View an existing weighting scheme, or create a new weight scheme.
Weight factors are the numerical values assigned to the individual answers that the weighting scheme is being applied to. You can use the exported weight factors to review the weight factors being applied and to validate the calculations.
The exported file contains the following information:
- A column for each field added as a weight variable.
- A row for each combination of variables.
- The Count column with the unweighted count for each row.
- The Unweighted Percentage column with the value for each variable combination.
- The
Weight Factor column with the calculated
weight factor for each variable combination.
Note: The weight factor values are rounded to 5 decimal places in the spreadsheet column. To view the full precision of a weight factor, click on the cell and view the full value in the formula bar.

Click the
Weight Scheme drop-down list, and click the
open in a new window icon for the weighting scheme to export the weight factors
from.
The file is downloaded
to your web browser's default download location.
