Send a distribution email now

Send an invitation or reminder to recipients.

Prerequisites:

Authors must have their user permissions set to send a distribution email.

  1. On the Distribute page, open the message you want to send by clicking its subject link.
  2. In the dialog that opens, review your distribution details.
  3. On the Schedule tab, under Send Date, click Now.
  4. Click Review and Send.
  5. In the Confirm Communication dialog, review the details of your email, and then click Send Now.
  6. Click Back to Distributions to return to the Distribute page.
    Tip: To see when a message was sent, click Actions > Analysis, and find the Sent timestamp.

Note: If you need to resend a failed email, you must create a new version of the same email and re-create the member filter. If you do this, be aware that the number of sent emails may not match the Remaining to invite count in some cases. This is because some of the failed deliveries may be caused by bounces.
