You can select the calculations to display for Number questions,
and for tiles based on a Convert to Numbers recode field.
-
Click the options menu for the Number tile you want to configure,
and select
Tile Settings.
-
Click the
Calculations drop-down list and select the
checkbox next to each calculation to include in the crosstab.
The Average calculation is selected by default. If you remove it,
you must select at least one calculation.
The following calculations are available:
- Average (Mean):
The sum of all values divided by the number of values.
- Median: The
middle value when all values are sorted in ascending order. If there is an even
number of values, it is the average of the two middle values.
- Min: The
smallest value.
- Max: The
largest value.
- Mode: The value
that occurs most frequently.
- Standard
Deviation: A measure of how spread out the values are from the
mean. A higher standard deviation indicates more variability.
- Sum: The total
obtained by adding all of the values together.
- Variance: The
average of the squared differences from the mean, showing how much the values
vary from the mean.
-
Click
Apply.
Result: The tile is updated with the selected calculations.
