Grant video discussion access to a third party moderator
Moderators play an active role in video discussions. They are seen and heard by participants, they ask questions, and they lead and set the tone for the overall conversation.
If the moderators in your video discussion project already have access to the Alida platform, they can log in themselves, open the project, and join the room. However, if you need to give someone temporary moderator access, you can follow the steps below to assign them the Video Discussions User user role. This user role grants access to third party or internal moderators while strictly limiting their permissions to certain video discussion projects. After the interview sessions are over, you can remove the users you created if their access was temporary.
The moderator can join the meeting room up to 1 hour before the scheduled start time. To do so, they must log in to the Alida platform, navigate to the video discussion project, open it, and click the Track Participants tab. On the Track Participants tab, they select the session they want to join click the Join Room when they're ready.
