The surveys workflow

Using a survey to collect data involves creating your survey, distributing it to participants, and finally, analyzing your reports.

Step 1: Create a survey

From the Activities page, create a survey. You can also import a survey and use that as a starting point.

Step 2: Compose the survey

The application provides all the tools you need to create your survey and prepare it for distribution. For more information, see Survey Builder.

Step 3: Test the survey

When you are done adding survey objects to the Table of Contents, test your survey and ensure it is ready for participants:

Step 4: Distribute the survey

After you finish testing, you can make the survey available to participants and begin collecting quantitative data:

Step 5: Monitor your survey

On the Monitor page, you can view summary statistics for your entire survey, and a statistical breakdown for each question. For more information, see Survey participation.

Step 6: Analyze response data

On the Report page, you can view tabular response data for each question in your survey. You can also perform a wide range of data analysis tasks. For more information, see Report.
