The power survey workflow

Build your survey in the Power Survey Authoring tab then publish and distribute your survey in Community.

The following diagram describes the power survey workflow.
Note: You will be navigating between Community and the Power Survey Authoring tab.

Step 1: Create a power survey

From the Activities page, create a power survey.

Step 2: Build the survey

Add questions to your survey in the Power Survey Authoring tab. For more information, see Create questions.

Step 3: Validate the survey

Once you are done adding questions, ensure the survey is ready for participants by checking the survey for errors. For more information, see Validate a power survey.

Step 4: Publish the survey

After you validate your survey, navigate back to Community to make the survey live, so participants can begin responding.

Step 5: Distribute the survey

Once you publish the survey, invite participants to complete your survey:

Once you send invitations and open survey links, anyone who has an open invitation or survey link can access the survey.

Step 6: Monitor the survey

On the Overview page, you can view participant statistics for your survey. For more information, see The Overview page.

Step 7: Analyze the response data

After the survey is closed, you can view response data using any of these reporting solutions:
