Mobile survey checklist: Before you deploy

Before you deploy a survey to mobile participants, ask yourself the following questions.

1. Have you tested the mobile version of your survey using any or all of the following methods?
   • Simulating what the survey may look like. For more information about how to do this, see View a simulated mobile version of a survey.
   • Scanning the QR code on the mobile simulation page to quickly load and test the survey on a mobile phone. For more information about this, see Preview a survey.
   • Emailing a test link to yourself and launching the survey on a mobile phone.
2. Are you using question types that are supported on desktop and mobile?
3. Are your question and answer text concise?
4. Are there images in your survey, and if so, are they sized appropriately?
5. Have you made sure there is no scripting (CSS or JavaScript) in your survey?
6. Does the survey feel too long, and if so, can you shorten it?
7. Did you review your survey for potential issues that can occur under very specific conditions?
